Peter R. Macrie, Jr.



Peter R. Macrie, Jr., 68, of Hammonton, N.J. passed away suddenly on Wednesday July 3, 2024 and went home to be with the Lord. Peter was a 1973 graduate of St. Augustine Prep and a lifelong Hammonton resident. He was the owner and Pres- ident of the family business, Macrie Transfer and Cold Storage. Pete loved his family and was a wonderful father to his children.


He is predeceased by his parents, Peter R. Sr. and Helen (nee Donio) Macrie; and his sister, Elizabeth Macrie. Pete is survived by his loving wife, Toni Marie; his children, Kenneth James Macrie (Daneis- lys), Tabitha Lynn Macrie, Samantha Lynn Macrie, Jacob Allen Mac- rie; and sister, Bernadette Rodio (Sam). He is the loving grandfather of Anathalia Rose and Kinsley Rose Macrie, who were the loves of his life. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be sadly missed by his furry best friend Benji.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend his church visitation Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Anthony Church 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
