Ogden to speak at HAC’s ‘Women in the Arts’ luncheon


Courtesy Photos Stockton professor Kate Ogden will be the speaker and presenter at the Hammonton Arts Center’s March 24 “Women in the Arts” luncheon at the Canoe Club.

Hammonton Arts Center, Women’s Committee has announced that their “Women in the Arts” luncheon will be held on Sunday, March 24, at the Canoe Club, 100 Sports Dr. at Hammonton Lake Park.

The luncheon speaker Kate Ogden, professor of Art History at Stockton University, will be speaker and presenter of the contributions and accomplishments of women in the arts.


Hammonton Arts Center will be presenting to college art student, Natalie Sole, a scholarship in memory of Cortlandt Bellavance, who served as President of the Hammonton Arts Center from 2012-2014.

Bellavance was an art instructor at Atlantic Cape Community College.


Luncheon is open to both women and men. People can purchase luncheon tickets for $30 per person at the Hammonton Arts Center at 10 S. Second Street.


For more information call (609) 567-5360. People can mail checks payable to the Hammonton Arts Center. Mail order tickets will be held at the door. Deadline for purchasing is Friday, March 22.


No tickets will be sold at the door.

Members original art, art supplies and other goodies will be on display for the silent auction.
