Obituary - Patricia Thomas

Patricia Shina Thomas (Patti) made her Transition on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, N.J.

Born January 4, 1930, she spent her childhood in Green Bank, NJ and went to Green Bank school until 1941. She then went on to St. Nicholas school in Egg Harbor, NJ and graduated in 1943. Patti moved to Hammonton, NJ in 1943 and graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1947. She worked for Bell AT&T for a number of years before becoming a floral designer. She worked for Fran Sue Shope in Berlin, NJ and Virginia's Flowers in Hammonton, NJ before finally establishing Our Expressions Florist in a Hammonton, NJ in 1967. She retired from the flower shop in 2002.

Predeceased by her husband, Wm. H. Thomas; her parents, Mae and Peter Shina, Sr.; her brother, Peter J. Shina, Jr.; her Niece, Kelly A. Shina Alahyane; and her sister-in-law, Shirley A. Shina. Surviving are niece, Patricia J. Miller; and her husband, Jerry Miller; nephew, Alderazak A. Alahyane; grand niece, Amber Rose; grand nephew, Ryan Miller; and many loving family and friends.

Per Patti's wishes, funeral services and burial will be private.
