Maryann Crescenzo

Maryann Crescenzo (nee Capaccio), 86, of Folsom, N.J. passed away Tuesday October 2, 2024 at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, NJ. Maryann was born in Philadelphia, Pa. and raised in Hammonton where she graduated from Hammonton High School in 1956 and Glassboro State College in 1970’s. She retired from Ancora State Hospital as an Assistant Social Supervisor in 1993 after 30 years of service. Throughout the years Maryann was a Girl Scout and Campfire Leader, member of the Folsom Historical Society and the Night Owl Bowling league at DiDonato’s Bowling Center.

She is predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Mildred Capaccio; her sisters, Toni Ann Blough, Cookie Theurer and her husband Bob; and brother-in-law, Ray Strempel. Maryann is survived by her loving husband, Anthony J. “Bros” Crescenzo; her son, Anthony J. Crescenzo, Jr.; her daughter, Michele Crescenzo (Michael Caprio); sisters, Rosalie Frederico (Donald) and Kathy Strempel. She will be sadly missed by her grandson, Anthony James Crescenzo, III

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Monday October 7, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish -St. Joseph Church corner of Third and French Sts., Hammonton, NJ 08037. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11am. Entombment followed in Greenmount Cemetery 148 S. First Rd.
