Edward R. Shoemaker

Edward R. Shoemaker, affectionately known as Bob, 77, of Hammonton, N.J. passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Echelon Care and Rehabilitation Center in Voorhees, N.J. Bob was born in Philadelphia, Pa., He attended Edgewood High School, Glassboro State University where he received his teaching degree and taught history. Bob went back to school and graduated with a nursing degree from the Philadelphia School of Nursing. Once he received his nursing degree, he moved to San Francisco, Calif. where he worked as a psychiatric nurse at the St. Francis Hospital. After a long period, Bob returned to New Jersey to care for his mother. Bob loved life, he was very outgoing and was the center of the party. He loved to travel.

Edward is predeceased by his parents, Edward and Marie Shoemaker; and his sister, Marie Roesing. Edward is survived by his niece, Linda Domenico of Hammonton; his great nephew, Ron Domenico; and his great niece, Skylar Domenico.

Services will be private.
