Obituary - Donald H. Haines Sr.

Donald H. Haines Sr., 73, of Hammonton, N.J. passed away Saturday September 7, 2024. Born and raised in Hammonton, N.J., Donald graduated from Edgewood HS Class of 1968. He was an avid pheasant hunter and enjoyed the outdoors with his hunting buddy, Roxy the chocolate lab. Donald was also a member of Shur Shot Gun Club. He was a dedicated Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed NASCAR. Donald worked at Whitehall Labs in Hammonton until their closure and was also a HVAC technician for McAllister Heating and Cooling for many years. He could fix absolutely anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Donald is predeceased by his mother, Helena (nee DeVries) Haines. He is survived by his wife, Betty (nee Eby) Haines; son, Donald Haines Jr. (Alix); and daughter, Amanda Haines (Adam Temkin). Loving grandfather of Xavi, Alex, and Mackenzie.

Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N Third St. Hammonton, N.J.
