Obituary - Debbie Mazzagatti


Debbie Mazzagatti

Debbie Mazzagatti (nee Dickinson), 68, of Hammonton, N.J. passed away peacefully after a 19-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease on Thursday July 4, 2024. Born in Camden NJ, she was raised in Hammonton. Debbie was a 1973 graduate of Hammonton High School and a 1977 graduate of Drexel University where she earned a BS Degree in Fashion Design. She built a career by designing in several different companies but found her passion in designing children’s wear at Blueberri Boulevard in NYC, NY where she retired shortly after her Parkinson’s diagnosis. She loved sewing, reading and listening to music but most of all she loved being a mom and a grammy to Jaxsen, Camilla, Andrew and Lucia. She also enjoyed winter vacations in warm and sunny Florida.


She is predeceased by her parents, Jack and Marie Dickinson; and her sister, Lori Foster. Debbie is survived by her husband of 46 years, Joseph; her daughter, Lisa Mazzagatti and her husband Drew Golino, their children, Andrew and Lucia Golino; her son and daughter in law, Paul and Lindsay Mazzagatti and their children, Jaxsen and Camilla Mazzagatti. She is also survived by her brothers, John Dickinson, (Karen), Richard Dickinson, (Jacki), her sister Maria DiBona (Scott); and brother-in-law, Rich Foster, eight nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends. A special thanks from the family goes to Brenda Leone, her home health nurse, the life enhancing staff of Samaritan Hospice and Jon Eaton and Brandon Fredhoff from Breakthru Physical Therapy.


Family and friends were invited to a viewing on Tuesday July 9 from 6 p.m. to 9: p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Marinella Funeral Home, 102 N. Third Street, Hammonton, NJ fol- lowed by a mass at Wednesday 11 a.m. at St. Mary Mt. Carmel Parish, St. Joseph’s Church. Entombment will be at Greenmount Cemetery, 124 First Rd. Hammonton, NJ.
