Frances A. “Frannie” Penza

Frances A. “Frannie” Penza (nee DiMeglio), 91, of Hammonton, N.J. passed away peacefully Sunday October 20, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born and raised in Ancora, N.J. and graduated from Lower Camden County Regional High School in 1951 and remained active organizing her class reunions every year.

Frannie was the office manager of DiMeglio’s Septic a family business for over 35 years. She was a former Board member of the Hammonton Swim Club and held the position of Treasurer for several years.

She is predeceased by her parents, John B. and Pauline DiMeglio (nee Parzanese); and her brother, John A. DiMeglio.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas D. Penza; her three daughters, Cindy Gary (John), Patty Scaffidi (Dominic) and Liz Thomas (Sean); and her four sisters, Toni Marinelli (Ed), Roseann Lucca (Joseph), Cookie Maccarella (John) and Madeline Castone (Anthony). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Kristen (Michael), JT (Sarah), Danny (Maureen), Kelsey (Jesse), Dominic, Ali (Brett) and Sean Elizabeth; as well as her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Ava, Christopher, Hailey and Nora.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday October 24 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third Street Hammonton, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday 11 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Anthony Church 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton, NJ. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery 124 S. First Rd.
