HAMMONTON—Paul Morris DanceXplosion received a new purple awning, which was funded with a grant made available through MainStreet Hammonton.
“This is such a wonderful, visible example of the positive impact that MainStreet organizations have on downtowns across America. This project—and many more throughout our Downtown District here in Hammonton—was funded through a Neighborhood Preservation Program grant that the Hammonton Revitalization Corporation (HRC)/MainStreet Hammonton distributes on behalf of the Town of Hammonton, made possible by the State of New Jersey’s Department of Community Affairs,” Executive Director of MainStreet Hammonton Mica McCullough said.
These funds are intended to enhance the exterior facades of buildings throughout the District; they also tend to bring positive attention to the historic buildings downtown and the incredible businesses inside, she added.
“The HRC and the MainStreet Hammonton program are grateful to Paul Morris DanceXplosion for having a vision and taking the time to work with our Design Committee to make this project happen,” McCullough said.

“It has brought tons of attention to our studio. We’ve got a few new signups from it,” Azzara said.
Paul Morris DanceXplosion will be having a registration and open house event on August 28-30 from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. There will be free dance gift giveaways, uniform fittings, shoe fittings and dance accessories sale.
“Come to your downtown dance studio in the heart of Hammonton. We’ve been here for 23 years,” Morris said.
