Mull ran the 200 in 22.60 seconds, breaking the program record in the event while finishing third overall.

CJ Handy ran the 200 meters in 24.12 seconds and Josiah Miller had a time of 25.21.

Hammonton’s sprinters did well at the meet, as Mull was sixth in the 55-meter dash with a time of 6.70 seconds. Handy finished in 6.87 seconds, while Aaron Lasasso had a time of 7.18 seconds and Miller finished in 7.30.

In the 400-meter dash, Handy had Hammonton’s best time, 53.03 seconds. Harris (57.92) and Rolison Turpin (59.23) also competed for the Blue Devils.

In field events, Christan Medina was sixth overall in shot put with a throw of 46-feet, 9.5-inches. Gabriel Ramirez threw 42-7.75 to finish ninth and Nahdir Long had a mark of 31-1.75.

In long jump, Harris was 11th with a leap of 18-feet, 7.25-inches. Nate Goblirsch jumped 17-feet, 2-inches and Cooper Mull had a mark of 15-feet, 1.5-inches.

Iuliucci cleared 9-feet in the pole vault, while Jakub Golembiewski and Prince each had a mark of 7-feet.

“We had a great start to the season,” Hammonton coach Jeff Dey said.

“We had a record get broken [Mull in the 200] and Christian Medina got his season off to a really strong start,” Dey said.

On December 30, Hammonton competed in a SJTCA meet at the Bennett Center in Toms River, but those results were too late for this edition. On January 7, the Blue Devils will be at the Freedom Games at Ocean Breeze.
