Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America - Mother Cabrini Lodge 3003 of Hammonton invites the community to its “Shop Like a Mother” event on Saturday, April 27, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge on 205 Central Avenue in Hammonton.
The event will feature local, women-owned businesses for guests to enjoy ahead of Mother’s Day. Vendors will be selling a variety of products including art, baked goods, candles, skincare, jewelry, natural body products, haircare, accessories and more. On-site services will also be available such as permanent jewelry, eyebrow shaping and waxing, massages, injectables and fitness demonstrations.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased on eventbrite (search “Shop Like a Mother”). All guests will receive a “Strong as a Mother” reusable shopping bag and have a chance to enter a raffle for a pair of diamond earrings. Ticket proceeds will support a local shelter that provides aid and services to victims of domestic violence, human trafficking and homelessness.
“So often women don’t make time for self-care,” Mother Cabrini Lodge President Kendal Apalucci-Pellegrino said. “We’re excited to host this event to make it accessible and easy. Everything you need to relax and socialize will be together in one room!”
Interested vendors can email cabrinifundraising3003@gmail.com for more information.
