To the Editor,

As the new school year begins, I am writing to ask for your support as a candidate for the Hammonton School Board. My wife, Maureen, and I have lived here since 2004 and are proud to call Hammonton home. We have two daughters, who attend our schools, and we are all involved in many activities throughout our great community.

I am very familiar with school district operations. My wife is a schoolteacher in another district, my parents were both schoolteachers and I am licensed by the N.J. Department of Education as a School Business Administrator. I currently work at a university where I lead a large business program and utilize my experiences from 25-plus years of working with companies in a variety of financial and strategic planning roles.

Once I am elected to the school board, you have my promise that I will do my best to make sound, informed and common sense decisions to benefit our students, parents, faculty, staff, all residents and taxpayers. I believe the foundation of solid decision making is to be proactive and engage with, and listen to, all stakeholders to encourage participation in school board meetings and activities—providing everyone in our town greater accountability, better communication and more transparency.

In closing, I would sincerely appreciate one of your three votes to our school board this fall. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime at (609) 457-1639. I’m here for you.
