To the Editor:
To Shirley Holly, President of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs, and to Pat Berenato, President of the Woman’s Civic Club of Hammonton, and to all the members of various clubs throughout our state and country: thank you for your congratulatory wishes. It has been a pleasure over the years to be involved in the many projects we accomplished, the friendships we have made and the challenges that made all our efforts successful. It really does take a village!
“May we strive to touch and to know the great common human heart of us all.”
For the past 116 years, prior to every meeting in the Hammonton Chapter of WCC, we gather together and recite the “Collect for Club Women,” by Mary Stewart.
“It is the little things that create differences, but in the big things of life we are one.”
God’s blessings to all of you.
