Girls win first-ever championship; finish season at 16-0

 

HAMMONTON—The Hammonton Hurricanes wrapped up a perfect 16-0 season last week, sweeping the Mount Laurel Warriors in the SJGSA Junior patriot Division championship series.
 

 

 

Stingrays swim well in home opener

 

HAMMONTON—In their first home meet of the season, the Hammonton Stingrays came up short, falling to the Haddon Township Seahwaks 371-176.

 

 

 

Little League All-Stars win in District 16 tournament

HAMMONTON—A year after reaching the state finals in the 10-11-year old division of the Little League Baseball tournament, Hammonton Little League’s All-Stars began their pursuit of a trip to the Little League World Series with an 18-0 win against Lower Cape May in the opener of the District 16 tournament last weekend at Hammonton Lake Park.
